| | Duties & Responsibilities: | The Vice President of Global Sales will have responsibility for developing and executing the global sales and channel strategy for the Company, and will oversee the sales function in all domestic and international territories. Along with his/her direct reports, he/she will collaborate with Business Development, Design, Product Development, Marketing, Production, Logistics, Finance, Information Technology, and Human Resources to create business strategies that will deliver innovative products and services to grow sales, market share, and gross margin dollars. The VP, Global Sales, is a member of the Company’s Senior Management Team and is responsible for working with other such representatives within the Company to set strategic goals and direction for the organization. The position reports directly to the President, and manages, and is responsible for the development of: B2B/OEM, North America Wholesale Distribution and Direct, Global B2C and Channel Development/eCommerce, to drive profitable bookings in support of company metrics.
| | Minimum Requirements: | Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing or related. MBA Preferred.
Ten to fifteen years experience in multi-channel, consumer product, domestically and internationally, with P&L responsibility; marketing experience a plus.
Consistent, goal-exceeding performance throughout career selling contracts to Fortune 500 companies. Adept at developing and leveraging executive-level business relationships.
Demonstrated negotiations experience, particularly in putting together creative and complex sales structures designed to achieve the organization’s strategic initiatives and profitability goals.
International experience and language skills desired.
Relevant experience and passion for mechanical, active lifestyle products that Warn focuses on.
Organizational skills, aggressive drive for performance, and extremely high levels of personal accountability are required.
Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to remain flexible to change within the work environment and scope of responsibility.
Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
Working knowledge of personal computers with experience in the use of such programs as Word, Excel, Outlook, Access, PowerPoint, and CRM.
Must be able to travel/customer 50%+ both domestically and internationally utilizing various transportation modes.
